In the contemporary landscape, digital monitoring apparatuses have evolved into fundamental urban infrastructure. Following the protest activities, the cameras situated within Taksim Square may have borne witness to the array of governance techniques amid the outbreak of the pandemic. This timely cinematic endeavor, utilizing a terminal interface akin to surveillance technology as its visual framework, affords spectators a method of political observation and intervention. It adeptly examines the process of identifying heterogeneous artistic avenues within the interstices of public space governance, facilitating a certain manner of internal dissolution. Concurrently, it engenders a genuine emancipation of these ostensibly impartial surveillance depictions. - Shi Qing

The film is structured into eight interconnected chapters, vividly depicting a fantastical allegory and adventure narrative of botanical invasion into urban spaces from a clandestine garden. These botanical entities serve as allegorical representations of dissenters residing on the fringes of the concealed garden portrayed in the film. Commencing with subtle whispers of intrigue, the storyline progressively unveils the enigmatic diversity of flora within the secret garden and their strategies as clandestine conspirators. They emerge as entities resistant to domestication, defying facile categorization and cognitive assimilation. Each chapter exhibits a visually opulent portrayal, reflecting the untamed essence of the botanical subjects. The subsequent delineation of various botanical traits serves as a poignant return to reality, offering a consummate embellishment to the narrative. - Yao Qingmei

Employing handheld cinematography in low-light conditions, it sensitively captures the nuances of the community's faces and bodies with a distinctive tactile perception. Through hypnotic narration and whispered songs, the film evokes a profound sense of ancestral connection, awakening within the darkened dance ritual scenes. As a member of the Okaina community, Ferney endeavors to establish an intuitive method through gaze and silence in his cinematic exploration.
