Suruchi is an independent filmmaker from Rajasthan, India. She has been documenting the cultural diversity of India as part of her folk film series. A graduate from National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad, she is the recipient of the Jury prize at IDSFFK 2017, Forum Lenteng Award at Arkipel Film Festival 2017 amongst others. 'Equals' her recent work as director, received Special Mention Award in the Best Short Form Series category at International Documentary Association Awards 2023. Suruchi was also a UNESCO-Sahapedia research fellow in 2019, her film Meen Raag made as part of this fellowship was awarded at the 69th National Film Awards by the Film Federation of India.
