Qi Ji, graduated from Beijing Film Academy (BFA) with a Bachelor’s degree and a Master’s degree in film directing.
He’s the director of the short In the Middle of Blue in 2018. In the Middle of Blue has been nominated by the 23rd Busan International Film Festival in Asian Short Film Competition.
In 2019, he was admitted by the Asia Film Academy of the 24th Busan International Film Festival. His film The Perfect Wife was screened at the 24th Busan International Film Festival.
In 2021, his documentary project DOG KING has been nominated by Cnex Chinese Documentary Forum.
本科和硕士研究生均毕业于北京电影学院导演系。2018年创作短片《一只蓝色的虾》入围第23届釜山国际电影节、86358短片交流周、北京大学生电影节、New Era新片场青年电影季、重庆青年影展、IM两岸青年影展等竞赛单元。
2019年被釜山国际电影节举办的亚洲电影学院录取，并在第24届釜山国际电影节展映短片《The Perfect Wife》。
2022年纪录片项目《狗王》入围第13届CNEX华人纪录片提案大会。
